Hybrid Senior Auditor: Internal Controls (3 Mo)
Job summary
A local authority in Northwest England is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to enhance their internal audit operations. The role involves planning and executing audits to ensure effective control and governance processes. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a Senior Auditor role and relevant qualifications. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for two days per week in the office, and a competitive pay rate of £30 per hour.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience within a Senior Auditor role or equivalent.
- Can be part qualified if partway through exams.
Responsibilities
- Assist the internal audit team in providing assurance on control and governance processes.
- Research, plan, and prepare draft terms for audit assignments.
- Support management in improving the audit service.
