They are actively seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Sustainability Consultant with a strong background in ESG, to join an already-established team of consulting professionals at the office based in the vibrant, cultural city of Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on sustainability strategies and monitoring frameworks
• Oversee Net-Zero Carbon strategies and assessments
• Conduct material life cycle assessments (LCA) and circulatory assessments
• Provide support for environmental and wellbeing consultancy and assessments (including BREEAM, LEED, SKA, and the WELL Building Standard)
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations (POE) and NABERS assessments
• Provide Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consultancy services

Required skills and experience

• A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Environmental Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
• Considerable experience of working within the sustainability field, in a consultancy setting
• Excellent working knowledge of BREEAM, including the successful delivery of BREEAM assessments
• Experience of producing complex technical reports
• Good working knowledge of environmental and sustainability legislation, particularly with reference to UK developments
• Demonstrable experience of undertaking LEED, SKA, or WELL Building Standard assessments
• Excellent proficiency with materials life cycle tools and software systems, such as One Click LCA
• Experience of carrying out circulatory assessments and consultancy services
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills and experience

• A UK Master's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant built environment discipline
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
