Data Quality Manager - fixed term until 01/06/2027

Salary: £46,023 - £54,476

Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Quality Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data quality framework. This is a pivotal role in our journey to becoming a truly data-driven organisation, where high-quality data underpins decision-making, service delivery, and innovation.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the Council to promote data ownership and improve data quality at every level.

• Strong experience in data quality management within a large, complex organisation.


• Proven ability to develop and implement data quality frameworks and policies.


• Excellent communication and influencing skills to secure stakeholder buy-in.


• Deep understanding of data governance, data management principles, and compliance.


• Experience with data profiling and quality tools

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
