Senior Material QC Inspector – Offshore Oil & Gas
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Material QC Inspector for a contract role in Prestatyn. This full-time position involves inspections and quality control checks on materials for a Carbon Capture project in the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and a relevant degree or diploma. This contract role offers a negotiable day rate and will involve onsite work Monday to Friday, with additional Saturday hours as needed.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in material control activities on a construction site for the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with QC for structural/mechanical/civil/electrical equipment and items.
- Possession of international certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and QC checks on all incoming materials/equipment.
- Prepare and manage inspection reports and communicate with clients.
- Maintain material certifications and test/inspection records.
- Oversee subcontractor QC activities.
