Your background as an Electrical Design Engineer
  • An Electrical Design Engineer or Electrical Engineer with a background in electrical design.
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, utilities, instrumentation, or similar engineering sectors is a big plus.
  • Degree qualified (2:1 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a desire to become a Chartered Engineer (if not already achieved).
  • A natural problem‑saver with strong attention to detail and a passion for collaboration.
What you will be doing as an Electrical Design Engineer
  • Designing and delivering electrical systems for innovative energy and utilities projects – including high‑pressure pipelines and plant systems.
  • Taking projects from initial concept through to commissioning and handover.
  • Producing design calculations, drawings, and project documentation that meet the highest standards.
  • Supporting bids and tenders with smart, practical electrical design input.
  • Working closely with other engineers and project teams to find creative, efficient solutions.
