Senior Rendering Programmer — Real-Time PC Graphics
Job summary
A leading gaming company is hiring an experienced Rendering Programmer for a significant role in enhancing Fortnite's performance on PC. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ programming expertise, real-time rendering experience, and the ability to resolve technical challenges. You will ensure optimal performance across various hardware setups, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to improve rendering systems. The position requires both problem-solving skills and an understanding of graphics APIs, primarily DirectX 12. Join us and contribute to creating exceptional gaming experiences.

- Strong C++ knowledge and multi-threaded programming techniques.
- Real-time rendering experience with knowledge of a graphics API, preferably DirectX 12.
- Experience in profiling and optimizing large codebases.
- Ability to debug large systems at both macro and micro levels.
- Experience with OS-level systems, Windows APIs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve performance issues across various PC hardware configurations.
- Monitor stability and performance data for Fortnite.
- Collaborate with GPU vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Assess and improve Unreal Engine's rendering systems based on performance data.
- Work with other Epic teams to solve technical challenges.
