If yes, the Pharmacy Department is recruiting a Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical trials team at the University Hospital of Wales.
We seek a dedicated individual demonstrating professional accountability to enhance patient care, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance with Good Clinical Practices and Health Board policies. All work adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and EU Good Manufacturing Practice legislation.
The post involves supporting the clinical trials team by dispensing and checking clinical trial prescriptions for patients under Cardiff and Vale UHB care, providing a high-quality, patient-focused pharmaceutical service to patients, research staff, and external sponsors.
You will work as part of a specialized, friendly team and independently manage problems, enquiries, and urgent requests, consulting with senior technicians or pharmacists as needed.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ensure adherence to GCP principles in managing clinical trials while maintaining accurate dispensing records. Other responsibilities include:
