Description
As Financial Controller, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Uphold professional integrity and always act in the best interest of clients
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including FCA requirements
- Foster effective working relationships across departments and regions
- Maintain ongoing professional development to stay current with industry standards
- Contribute to the firm's marketing initiatives and broader business goals
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management accounts for UK and international entities
- Manage regular financial reporting cycles for both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Supervise financial controls, including bank reconciliations, payment authorisations, and cash flow monitoring
- Coordinate and manage relationships with outsourced finance providers
- Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Support the development of annual business plans through financial data analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including timely filing and payment across relevant jurisdictions
- Review tax returns and coordinate with external advisors for tax planning and advisory support
- Annual update of the Firm's internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)
Profile
- Clear and confident communicator across all levels
- Experienced in creating business plans and KPI reports
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience overseeing outsourced vendors
- Skilled at building and maintaining vendor relationships
- Flexible and hands-on approach to both strategy and operations
- Comfortable managing both short-term tasks and long-term goals
- Qualified within one of the following ACA, CIMA or AACA
- Will be immediately available to start
