Conhecimentos
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a large Derbyshire based construction group as they look to bring in a new Operations Management Accountant to join their finance team.
As the Management Accountant for one of their specialist manufacturing facilities you will present and interpret accounting information for a section of Group companies to enable management to make effective business decisions. It will be a varied role with duties to include:
- To produce accurate job costing information
- To maintain accurate Work in Progress records
- To maintain accurate stock records and standard costing schedules
- To produce the management report and accounts ahead of board meetings for information to be interpreted
- Supervision of one ledger clerk
- To produce operating and cash flow forecasts for consolidation by the Group Management Accountant
- Any other related duties associated with this position
- CIMA / ACCA Qualified although Qualified by Experience will also be considered
- Manufacturing sector experience is highly desirable
- Attention to detail
- Good knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- Strong Excel skills and a passion for working with and analysing data to provide insightful management information
- Some experience in VAT would be an advantage.
- Experience in month end and year end financial processing
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well in a team
- Ability to identify and resolve issues
- Pro-active
- High level of organisational skills and ability to work to and achieve by agreed timetable
