Job summary

• Solid understanding of children and young people’s needs.
• Experience of planning and providing services in educational care.
• Knowledge of the Children & Families Act and SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to schools to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Offer advice to parents and other agencies regarding children's development.
• Conduct regular visits to schools for management of special educational needs.
