- Prepare statutory annual financial statements ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards such as FRS102 and UK GAAP.
- Assist in compiling comprehensive external reporting packs and quarterly regulatory reports for submission.
- Support new projects within the finance function by participating in testing activities and contributing valuable insights to enhance outcomes.
- Streamline and standardise existing financial processes with a focus on improving overall efficiency across the department.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues within the Finance team as well as key contacts throughout the wider organisation.
- Ensure all financial statements produced meet rigorous quality standards and adhere to applicable regulations including UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Collaborate with auditors during statutory account preparation to ensure smooth audit processes and timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial reporting requirements and proactively implement necessary adjustments to internal practices.
