A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a full-time position in Holywell. The role involves responsibilities such as managing purchase and sales ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, supporting month-end tasks, and handling weekly payroll. Qualifikationen
- AAT Level 3 or 4 ideally.
- AAT Level 2 will be considered if you bring something extra.
- Knowledge of CIS, reverse charge VAT or retentions is a big plus.
- Construction background is preferred but not essential.

- Handle purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Support with month-end tasks.
- Manage weekly payroll.
- Perform HR admin tasks.

Looking for your next step in finance? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager. It s a hands‑on role with loads of variety and plenty of room to learn.
- Mon – Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm
- Fri: 8.30am – 3pm
- Purchase ledger & sales ledger
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Supporting with month‑end tasks
- Weekly payroll
- Using Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll and Eque2
- A bit of HR admin thrown in (new starter forms, checks, etc.)
- AAT Level 3 or 4 ideally
- AAT Level 2 will be considered if you bring something extra (construction experience or similar)
- Knowledge of CIS, reverse charge VAT or retentions is a big plus
- Construction background is preferred but not essential
- Someone happy working full‑time in the office
- You’ll be working in a small, friendly finance function
