Job summary
A staffing agency is seeking a detail-oriented Admin Officer for a temporary role at a research farm in Hillsborough. Responsibilities include managing invoices, ordering supplies, and supporting compliance. Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin Officer to join the Research Farmed Estates team at Hillsborough in a temporary ongoing basis. This role involves supporting the operational and administrative functions of the farm unit, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across a range of duties.
- Reconciliation of invoices (feed bills, hauliers, veterinary services)
- Ordering and managing medicines, PPE, and animal tags
- Registration and certification of animals, including pedigree and accreditation platforms
- Managing BVD sampling, TB testing, and reporting of positive test results
- Liaising with waste management and acting as Farm Unit Waste Champion
- Maintaining internal systems (Cora time, Agriwebb, soil nutrient records)
- Supporting the Nutrient Management Plan and Farm KPIs
- General administrative support including minute-taking and data input
- 5 GCSEs including Science, Maths, and English Language (Grades A*-C or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in an administrative role
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture or farm operations
