You have an opportunity to join the Outpatient Reception and Administration team at Blandford Hospital. We are a small friendly unit of dedicated staff working to support the local Community Hospital services and a wide range of clinics from Dorset County Hospital.

The post will require a positive, flexible and proactive approach in covering three busy reception areas together with associated administrative procedures and responsibilities as detailed in the attached Job Description.

• Cover Outpatients, Main and Portman Reception desks
• Make and change patient appointments
• Manage outcoming clinics
• Maintain office supplies via e-procurement systems
• Deal with patient enquiries in person and by telephone
• Process clinic change notifications as directed by the line manager
• Assist the team by sharing skills and knowledge with colleagues to maintain best practice
