Department: Audit • Employment Type: Permanent • Location: London
Description HW Fisher Forensic is one of the world's most respected and active royalty audit teams. We act for leading clients in music, entertainment, publishing, fashion, sport, pharma and gaming. Our work in music royalties is well established, and we are proud to support some of the industry's most high-profile artists, rights owners and their representatives.
Our growing team is made up of experienced auditors who thrive on uncovering value, interpreting complex data, and helping clients better understand and enforce their royalty rights.
We are seeking a Music Royalty Auditor with direct and demonstrable experience auditing royalty statements and reporting within the music industry. This role is focused on projects involving recorded music, publishing and neighbouring rights, where you will be responsible for identifying underreporting, missed payments and financial discrepancies.
In this role you will also have the chance to work across a variety of royalty audits in other sectors such as television, sport, brand licensing and fashion. The mix of work is broad and continually evolving, and the successful candidate will gain insight into multiple commercial models while applying their music royalty audit expertise.
You will also be encouraged to take part in business development activity, whether that's following up on new leads, dealing with incoming opportunities, or helping build relationships with artist managers, law firms, labels and publishers. While the technical work is central, we welcome applicants who are commercially minded and interested in growing their professional network.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most experienced and well-connected royalty audit teams. You will work with an exceptional portfolio of clients, many of whom are at the top of their fields creatively and commercially. The team is collaborative, highly skilled and focused on producing impactful work that directly benefits creators and rights owners.
