A secondary school in Woking is seeking a Careers Support/Advisor to assist students in making informed career decisions, advise on training and apprenticeship options, and organize career-related events. The role is term-time only, offering an opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment. Candidates qualified or willing to train are encouraged to apply, with a requirement for a full driving license.
3 days per week for 40 weeks of the year (5 days in the school holidays)
Additional hours available with agreement from the line manager
Salary :
Qualified and experienced = PS5 actual salary £15200 (FTE £27650)
Unqualified = PS4 actual salary £13,263 (FTE £25,052)

You may well have a level 6 Careers Advice & Guidance Qualification BUT you may not and perhaps seeking an opportunity to change direction . We will support someone to train for this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and could be the challenge you have been seeking.
It is a busy but interesting post and enables a degree of autonomy, so you will need to be a self-starter. Do not be put off by the scope outlined below, there is plenty of support and our systems for each key event are in place and ready for further development as you become accustomed to the role.

This position is term time only, plus five days during the school holidays, therefore 40 weeks per year. You will need to hold a full driving licence.
