Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Outpatient Secretary to join our administration team. This is a full-time post based at Links Unit, City Hospital, Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and manage own workload, apply attention to detail, and work both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

The post-holders duties will include, but are not limited to, co‑ordination of appointments using TrakCare, notification of patients of their appointment(s) in writing or by email/telephone, management of administration processes relating to the Waiting List, responding to queries from patients and staff via telephone, email, and in‑person, and providing reception cover on an ad‑hoc basis when required.

Interviews will take place 19 January 2026.
