At Gripple Ltd, an employee-owned company and MX Awards Manufacturer of the Year, we design, manufacture, and sell innovative, patented products for the construction, agriculture, solar, and infrastructure markets.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join our established ledger team as we support the company's global growth.

Working alongside our Sheffield-based accounts team responsible for six UK sites and seven overseas sites, you will handle a range of accounting tasks. Responsibilities include:

• UK and overseas credit control
• Conducting credit checks on new and existing customers
• Chasing payments and resolving invoice-related queries
• Allocating customer receipts, including complex settlement discounts
• Liaising with UK and overseas sales teams
• Reporting debtor issues to management
• Month-end reconciliations and processing debit/credit notes
• Managing customer rebates and analysis

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. The company offers flexible working hours from 7.00am to 7.00pm.

You should be experienced and able to demonstrate:

• Proficiency with multiple IT systems (MS Office, Power BI, E8 ERP), with strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and people engagement skills
• Experience with cashbook, daily banking, and general ledger tasks
• Fundamental accounting knowledge (double entry)
• Ability to identify and implement improvements
• Experience working with multiple regions or international colleagues
