A leading energy firm in Edinburgh is seeking a Project Engineer to manage design and optimisation for the Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm project. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in infrastructure and networks within the power sector. They will play a key role in developing engineering strategies and support the project through its consenting processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major offshore energy project that connects to the UK’s national electricity transmission system.
Qualifications
- Solid technical background in infrastructure/networks projects.
- Experience in the power/energy sector.
- Understanding of offshore transmission regimes.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate design and optimisation activities for transmission assets.
- Develop and implement engineering strategy for the project.
- Support leasing and consenting processes.
