As an Industrial Placement Civil Engineer, you will assist in the planning & coordination, design & management of construction projects and on‑site activities, handling contractual and financial aspects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for hands‑on experience, mentorship and a strong foundation in quantity surveying.

• Assist in the planning, execution and management of projects relevant to your field of study.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support project objectives.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
• Prepare reports, presentations and documentation related to project activities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem‑solving and decision‑making processes.

• Current Civil Engineering student with a placement option or requirement for 2026‑2027, returning to university in 2028.
• Strong interest in construction engineering and project management.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

26 days annual leave, 24/7 Wellbeing Support Programme and exposure to our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks division on a water project in Falmer, East Sussex.
