- Routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on plant equipment
- Installation, commissioning, and testing of machinery
- Identifying improvements to maximise plant availability
- Supporting project work, shutdowns, and upgrades
- Following permit-to-work and risk assessment procedures
- Assisting with wider engineering tasks where required
- Flexibility is essential, as occasional overtime, weekend shutdowns, or out-of-hours breakdowns may be required
- Recognised mechanical engineering qualifications (NVQ Lvl 3 or higher is desirable)
- CompEx certification (desirable)
- Experience working in hazardous or regulated environments / CoMAH (preferable)
- Strong mechanical fitting and troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to read and follow technical documents and maintenance schedules
- Proactive problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance at all times
