Job summary

A telecommunications firm in Chesterfield seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to ensure product functionality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Site Engineering and hold necessary electrical qualifications. Responsibilities include sign-off of electrical designs and installations, as well as overseeing environmental enclosure projects. Candidates should be well-versed in telecom environments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Site Engineering / Installation Engineering / Advanced Engineering experience.
• Environmental enclosure design, installation & fitout.
• AC/DC Power M&E works to support RBS installations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet client needs and function properly.
• Sign off electrical designs and inspect electrical installations.

Skills

Understanding of the mobile network

Experience in a Telecoms environment

Good technical abilities

Clear driving license

Education

Full Qualified Electrician (C&G NVQ3 or Equivalent)

18th Edition Trained

C&G 2391-52

Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified

£48,000 to £55,000 plus benefits

Job Title/Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer help to make sure that the products they are responsible for work properly and that they meet the clients needs.

Typical Deliverables:

• Electrical qualifications: sign off electrical designs, inspection and sign off of electrical installations
• 3 years of Site Engineering / Installation Engineering / Advanced Engineering experience
• Environmental enclosure design, Enclosure installation & fitout; environmental alarms; site civils; AC/DC Power M&E works to support RBS installations

Skills - Experience:

• Demonstrate understanding of the mobile network.
• Experience in a Telecoms environment
• Good technical abilities
• Clear driving license

Required Certificates:

• Full Qualified Electrician (C&G NVQ3 or Equivalent)
• 18th Edition Trained
• C&G 2391-52
• Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified (including Medical Clearance, RF Awareness Trained, First Aid Trained)
