Job Title: History Teacher (Full-Time)

• Deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all learners make strong progress.
• Plan and assess lessons that challenge and inspire students’ historical knowledge, critical thinking, and source analysis skills.
• Contribute to the development of an enquiry‑led and knowledge‑rich curriculum that stimulates curiosity about the past.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policy.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
• Participate in department and whole‑school professional development activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching History.
• Ability to teach GCSE History effectively.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to inclusive education and raising attainment for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
