Join the Close Brothers Motor Finance Team, where you will support the Motor business in delivering engaging customer and partner communications across various channels, both online and offline. Working as part of the Marketing team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in creating copy used across multiple channels with excellent attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Be the copywriting subject matter expert within our customer-facing programmes.
2. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support the design of customer contact strategies that meet programme objectives, aligned with our brand experience principles.
3. Assist in marketing campaign activities by writing copy for advertising, social media, marketing collateral, website landing pages, and emails.
4. Coordinate with the brand manager to draft and submit award entries highlighting our business achievements.
5. Use ‘Writing for Customers’ and ‘Writing for Partners’ guidelines to create and update communications for printed and digital channels, such as letters, emails, websites, SMS, telephony scripts, and IVRs.
6. Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and Brand Manager to ensure all copy aligns with our tone of voice and brand values. Support operational colleagues and document owners to promote awareness of our writing principles.
7. Lead the document review group (DRG) to ensure external documents receive necessary approvals.
8. Support the incident response team with reactive communications to customers or partners.
9. Continuously improve copy based on insights from testing, analytics, and market research.
10. Live and promote the company values, developing effective relationships across CBMF.

• Proven experience creating copy across diverse channels.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in a high-performing, fast-paced marketing/content creation environment.
• Proactive, flexible, and ownership-driven, seeking to add value.
• Experience in matrix management, managing peers, project teams, and external agencies, with the ability to influence upward and laterally.
• Tenacious, hands-on, and willing to do what is necessary to complete tasks.
