Solicitor - Group Litigation - Cardiff - NQ-3 Years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join one of the UK's leading group litigation teams at the forefront of claimant-side collective redress. This is a unique chance to work on landmark group actions across environmental nuisance, professional negligence, product liability, competition, consumer, and financial mis‑selling claims, alongside high‑profile domestic and cross‑border litigation.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for progressing complex, high‑value cases and supporting senior colleagues, including:

  • Handling individual claims and assisting with strategic issues across large client cohorts
  • Reviewing documents, preparing witness statements, instructions to counsel, and drafting pleadings and correspondence
  • Liaising directly with clients, managing queries, and providing updates
  • Playing a hands‑on role in progressing matters to trial
  • Contributing to headline litigation that shapes the law and secures justice for thousands
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • NQ-3 years PQE (guide only – applications welcomed from all with relevant skills/experience)
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Confidence in managing a small caseload through the litigation process
  • Ambition, self‑motivation, and a proactive, forward‑thinking approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Prior specialist knowledge of collective actions is not required – full training will be provided.
