A leading financial institution is seeking a skilled individual to support financial reporting and controls in London. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure compliance with IFRS accounting and to enhance reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial control and auditing, alongside relevant qualifications. The position offers a hybrid working model, requiring in-office presence twice a week, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the workplace.
The UK Finance team aims to be a strategic partner and advisor in achieving HSBC Innovation Bank's overall mission to increase our clients' probability of success, supporting all of the Management information ("MI"), business analysis, financial reporting, Financial Control, Treasury and Tax activity for the Bank. This will be done by: + Delivering insights to support decision-making, drive performance, and set strategy; + Establishing a strong control environment to meet our obligations, protect our business and deliver smart, safe growth. We are looking to hire a talented individual to support UK financial reporting and controls. The role will report to the Head of Financial Accounting and Reporting and will work closely with the broader Finance team, as well as Compliance, Business Risk, Operations, Internal and External Audit teams. The role-holder will work with global and regional colleagues to embed the appropriate tools, processes, and controls to support the requirements of an expanded business and enhanced accounting, governance, and control requirements, including IFRS reporting and the statutory audit.
