About the Role: This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing Financial Services regulatory compliance practice. You will support the delivery of specialist regulatory advisory services to a diverse range of clients in the UK and internationally. As a Regulatory Consultant, you will assist the Financial Services Regulatory team in business development initiatives and client engagements, ensuring services are delivered in line with established methodologies and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the client engagement lifecycle effectively.
• Assisting with the preparation of tender documents and proposals to secure new business.
• Supporting market research, new proposition design, go-to-market strategies, and thought leadership to strengthen the brand.
• Conducting regulatory horizon scanning to stay ahead of industry changes.
• Aiding engagement managers with the day-to-day delivery of client engagement activities.
• Acting as an ambassador for the firm and building a strong network within the industry.

About the Company and Department: The firm is a global professional services provider with a strong presence in financial services risk and regulatory advisory. Its Risk Assurance team offers a range of services, including assurance reviews, outsourced internal audits, due diligence, compliance reviews, and staff augmentation. The firm also conducts regulatory reviews on behalf of financial regulators. The Financial Services Risk and Regulation team specializes in providing expert regulatory advice to financial services firms, supporting them in achieving compliance and effectively managing risk in line with evolving regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities in Business Development: You will play an active role in:

• Supporting business development activities
• Developing service propositions and contributing to tender responses
• Assisting with tender/pitch presentations
• Creating materials for seminars and industry events on key regulatory topics

Responsibilities in Client Delivery: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality client work, including:

• Managing client projects and engagements
• Engaging with stakeholders and building strong client relationships
• Conducting structured document reviews and gap analyses against regulatory requirements
• Leading client interviews and process walk-throughs
• Developing solutions, drafting reports, and providing actionable recommendations
• Conducting quality assurance reviews of client work
• Ensuring work meets professional and regulatory standards
