Job summary
A leading construction firm in Reading is seeking a Design Coordinator to oversee project deliverables and ensure compliance with UK Water Industry standards. The successful candidate will work with various teams to track project development, assist in preparation of documents, and promote value engineering opportunities. Attention to detail and collaboration with design consultants and regulatory bodies are essential. This role offers the chance to contribute effectively to various projects while ensuring quality and timely completion.
Qualifications
- Experience in project delivery processes.
- Ability to manage design documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects.
- Assist the Design Manager with the preparation of drafting work scopes.
- Generate design deliverables list and design schedule.
- Track development of design deliverables ensuring quality completion.
- Conduct meetings and prepare documentation for contractual communication.
- Monitor scope and assist in the preparation of change documents.
- Review designs for constructability and promote value engineering opportunities.
