About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Teacher who can engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of practical and theoretical expertise to the classroom, helping students develop essential design and engineering skills to prepare them for future careers in modern industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Design & Technology, incorporating traditional woodworking and metalworking techniques alongside modern technologies such as CAD and 3D printing.
Monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning needs and abilities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and emerging trends in design and technology.
Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student-led projects and hands-on learning.
Organize and manage classroom resources effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate design principles across different subjects.
Who Can Apply?
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) with relevant UK teaching experience are welcome to apply.
Candidates must hold a valid DBS certificate on the update service.
