Water Metering Field Technician – Outdoors, Hands-On
Job summary
A water utility provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Water Metering Team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with the installation and replacement of water meters, work outdoors in all weather, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have experience working on water networks, a full clean UK driving license, and a reliable attitude. Full training will be provided to support your career in the clean water industry.
Qualifications
- Experience working on water networks, utilities, or in a construction environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Capability to maintain a positive and reliable attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and replacement of water meters.
- Conduct excavation and reinstatement works following approved methods.
- Locate water assets and identify network issues.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Complete risk assessments and adhere to safety procedures.
- Work safely around underground services using necessary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Accurately complete job records and site paperwork.
