Mobile Vehicle Technician
Job summary

- Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
- Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
Responsibilities
- Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues reported by the breakdown team.
- Repair vehicles to get them back on the road.
- Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
- Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.

Salary: £44,385 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 plus
Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays (Plenty of overtime available)
As a Mobile Mechanic within our client’s Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you will use your expertise to support customers directly—whether at their home, workplace, or elsewhere. You’ll provide first‑class service without the restrictions of a traditional workshop. This role is with one of the UK’s leading vehicle breakdown companies, offering flexibility and a wide range of benefits.
- Competitive base salary of £38,625, with potential earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
- Full‑time 40‑hour week, Monday–Saturday availability (8am‑8pm), flexible and stable.
- After the first month, option to work extra rest days at £30 per hour – one day a month can add £3,000 to your earnings.

- Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues reported by the breakdown team.
- Repair vehicles to get them back on the road or arrange safe return to the workshop.
- Identify problems and advise the customer on vehicle issues.
- Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and diagnostic tasks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business.
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 or equivalent qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ).
- Minimum 3 years experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
- Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
