I am currently recruiting for a Test and Development Engineer to work for a leading Engineering organisation based in London. Salary up to £36,000, OTE £49,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are industry leaders within their field delivering world class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.
Due to aid with their expansion plans and in line with increased demand for their products, they have the need to appoint another Test and Development Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Test and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for testing finished machines before they're shipped to the customer. These machines will include motors, PLCs, HMI's and pneumatics to name several of the key components. This role will include you fitting the control panel, wiring where and when required, analysing faults that arise and rectifying them where and when you can. If the fault is outside your remit, then once diagnosed you can liaise with the specialist teams to find an appropriate solution, such as reprogramming a PLC or re designing a mechanical component.
