A leading private investment firm in Edinburgh seeks a Principal Data Architect to own the technical design and delivery of data architecture. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in data architecture and cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Fabric. The Principal Data Architect will define the vision for data governance and lead architectural standards development. Competitive salary of £120,000 plus benefits such as pension and healthcare.
iO Associates are working with an established reputable Private Investment company are on the lookout for an experienced Data Engineer to join them on a permanent basis
As the Lead Data Architect, you will own the technical design and delivery of data and software architecture, whilst embracing the latest technology. This is still very much a "hands on" technical role where you will also work closely with the stakeholders.
You will also play a pivotal role in strategic authority on data architecture across the organisation. You will define and evolve the enterprise-wide architecture that underpins analytics, reporting, and operational systems. You will set the vision for how data is structured, integrated, and governed, and lead the development of architectural standards, patterns, and principles that guide technical delivery across teams.
