Job summary
A tax advisory firm in City of London is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior/Manager. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of private clients including non-residents and providing advisory on personal tax matters. Applicants should be CTA qualified with at least 5 years in personal tax, demonstrating strong knowledge of UK tax legislation. - Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including UK resident/non-resident individuals, non-domiciled individuals, and trusts.
- Review complex personal tax returns and ensure all filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Lead advisory and tax planning projects across areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, offshore structuring, and residence/domicile issues.
- Support partners with business development initiatives and contribute to the wider technical knowledge base.
- Coach and develop junior team members to strengthen technical capability across the department.
- CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years’ experience in personal tax with a strong emphasis on private client work.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, particularly relating to non-doms and offshore planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-management abilities.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work across a varied portfolio.
