Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Group Financial Accountant for a fast-growing client in Basingstoke. The role involves managing the financial reporting of multiple companies, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. Candidates should be newly qualified or nearing completion of ACA or ACCA, with experience in statutory accounts. The position offers a flexible work schedule with remote days and an attractive benefits package, including increased holiday entitlement over years of service.

- At least newly qualified or a few exams left to complete ACA or ACCA.
- Experience with statutory, trading, and holding accounts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in consolidating annual statutory accounts.
- Ensure accounting policies follow UK GAAP standards.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards.
- Assist with external audits and answer queries.
- Produce annual statutory accounts for non-audit companies.
- Produce monthly management accounts for holding companies.
- Ensure Group Intercompany schedules are current.
