Job summary

Accountant: Financial Reporting & Forecasting; Crawley; 12 month Contract; £350-£400 per day via umbrella; Inside IR35

We are currently looking for a generalist / management accountant to take on the role of financial reporting and forecasting within a team based with an aerospace sector client based in Crawley West Sussex. The role will offer a hybrid working solution, with the post holder required on site Monday -Wednesday. General accountant.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage the internal Financial statements and supporting schedules for two UK Domains.
• Generate and manage the internal Business Management Review (BMR) presentation packs for two UK Domains.
• Update the company systems for actuals and forecasts related to the generation and management of internal Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
• Review the internal Financial statements and supporting schedules with their relevant Stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Previous management/generalist accounting experience.
• Accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience of using ERP systems, ideally Oracle or similar systems.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Sumifs.
• Previous financial reporting experience.
• Deadline focused.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
