Senior Accountant: Budgeting, Compliance & Cash Flow
Job summary
A financial services firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to manage bookkeeping, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves supporting internal and external audits, managing cash flow, and collaborating with various departments for financial planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and strong analytical skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to financial management and reporting within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial statements.
- Vendor/supplier payments, and receivables.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh accounting standards, VAT, TAX & company policies.
- Prepare and submit VAT/TAX documents as required.
- Review and process invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
- Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow, daily expenses, and fund management.
- Prepare monthly reports and share with Head Office.
- Work closely with the Head Office Accounts Team for financial planning, reporting, and documentation.
- Support other departments (HR, Supply Chain, Operations) in financial matters.
