Job summary
A key logistics recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Site-Based Project Manager/Senior Site Manager in Hounslow. The role involves leading logistics construction projects from the ground up, managing site teams, and ensuring compliance with all standards. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in large-scale projects and strong leadership skills. This position offers a pivotal role in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager on large-scale logistics or industrial projects.
- High-volume logistics background highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as the No.1 on site, managing all aspects of construction delivery.
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Drive programme performance, manage budgets, and report progress accurately.
Skills
We're looking for an experienced Site-Based Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to take ownership of major logistics construction projects, leading delivery from the ground up. This is a key role for a confident site leader with experience managing large-scale industrial or logistics builds.
- Act as the No.1 on site, managing all aspects of construction delivery
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
- Amazon experience is highly advantagous.
- Drive programme performance, manage budgets, and report progress accurately.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ standards and company procedures.
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager on large-scale logistics or industrial projects.
- High-volume logistics background highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of construction methodology and technical detail.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
