Senior Project Engineer
Job summary
A prestigious Subsea Construction company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for their Aberdeen office. In this vital role, you will direct technical project delivery, manage engineering tasks, and ensure adherence to project timelines and standards. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in marine and subsea projects within the Oil and Gas or Renewable sectors.
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience in Marine or Subsea Construction.
- Experience in design and installation is essential.
- Up to date offshore certification is advantageous.

- Manage individual projects closely with Head of Projects.
- Lead technical responses and delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Oversee execution phases during offshore operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical delivery and project coordination for marine and subsea construction. Duties to expect in this role include tender development and overseeing offshore/ engineering scopes. You will be joining an experienced team who are focussed on providing work of the highest quality on time and within budget, ensuring repeat business from their client portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage individual projects closely working with Head of Projects.
- Lead technical responses.
- Delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Development of operational procedures such as step-by-step methodology, rigging arrangements, equipment arrangements, lifting plans etc.
- Development of mobilisation and demobilisation.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Attend client meeting.
- Produce scopes of work for sub-contractors.
- Attend offshore operations to oversee execution phase.
- Offshore and international travel required depending on the project.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering Discipline.
- 5 years minimum experience working in Marine or Subsea Construction within the Oil and Gas or Renewable industry.
- Design/ installation experience.
- Offshore experience in the execution of projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Creative and able to adapt to changes circumstances.
- Up to date offshore certification (advantageous).
Salary:
- Up to 85K
