Visual Inspector
Job summary
A specialized recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Visual Inspector to join a team focused on precision manufacturing for automotive and aerospace markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machining, strong measurement skills, and the ability to produce quality inspection reports. Qualifications
- Experience as a Visual Inspector in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections.
- Produce Inspection reports and FAIR's.
- Complete NCR's and support 8D process.
- Ensure processing follows route cards.
- Monitor Calibrated Equipment List.

We are looking for an experienced Visual Inspector to work for a Company that specialise in the design and subcontract manufacturing of high precision components for the automotive and aerospace markets. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your skills further within CNC and CMM work.
- Experience as a Visual Inspector in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry is desirable.
- Can use Hand Held measuring tools, Linear Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Surface Finish Testers etc.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and have basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel).
- Quality control preferably AS9100.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication & time management skills.
- Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection and check for surface defects, cleaning, chipping, etc.
- Produce Inspection reports and FAIR's.
- Complete NCR's when necessary and support 8D process.
- Ensure all processing has been carried out in accordance with route cards.
- Monitor Calibrated Equipment List.
