Job description

Are you looking to start a career as a Machinist? Do you have a passion for engineering?

Due to growth, we are looking to appoint a trainee to join the machine shop team, with the view to trainning and coaching you in the skill of manual and CNC machining.

You will be taught to:

• learn how to operate manual lathes and milling machines, pillar drilling and CNC machines.
• machine parts from drawings
• use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• understand and perform tool wear offsets
• complete regular cleaning and maintenance tasks on

You will need:

• a qualification in a relevant subject
• a passion for engineering
• the ability to read technical drawings
• attention to detail
• the want to learn
