Civil Design Engineer – Infrastructure & Renewables (Hybrid)
Job summary
A growing engineering company in the UK is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its team. The role involves hands-on design and coordination of infrastructure projects, particularly in renewable energy and utilities. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in civil design, strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers a salary up to £55,000 and a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.

- Proven experience as a Civil Design Engineer within utilities, energy, infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Navisworks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, essential for multi‑disciplinary teamwork.
- Solid understanding of core civil engineering design principles.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings and 3D models.
- Support design work on foundations, drainage, access roads, and utility infrastructure.
- Coordinate information across internal departments to ensure consistent design outputs.
- Collaborate with project managers on design deliverables and technical queries.
