Job summary
A leading main contractor in London is seeking a Senior Engineer for a £58m Civil Rail Electrification Project. The ideal candidate will have rail experience and be responsible for quality control checks, risk assessments, and supervising sub-contractors. A Degree/HNC and valid CSCS Card required. This role offers a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 plus package.
Qualifications
- Degree/HNC qualified.
- Have a valid CSCS Card and ideally PTS.
- Previously worked as a Section Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in London Underground or rail projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain build records.
- Assist Site agent in ensuring operations are safe.
- Deliver LUL method statements and risk assessments.
- Supervise sub-contractors on site.

A Leading main contractor with over a £2.5bn is seeking a Senior Engineer with rail experience to work on a Civil Rail Electrification Project worth £58m in London lasting for over 3 years. The role will involve a mixture of rail and civils works.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + pkg
Location: London
Regions: London, South East
As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Conducting quality control checks and build records
- Assist Site agent in ensuring all operations are carried out safely
- Delivery of LUL method statements and risk assessment briefings
- Assist in the supervising of sub-contractors on site
To be successful in applying for this Senior Engineer role you need to be:
- Degree/ HNC qualified
- Have a valid CSCS Card and ideally PTS
- Previously worked as a Section Engineer, Senior Site Engineer, Site Engineer, Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer
- Experienced in London Underground, station upgrades, or rail projects in the UK with a Main Contractor or Sub Contractor
