Due to continuous growth and the requirement to support our projects, we are looking for a Structural Engineer who has experience in:

1. Structural steel design for a dynamic marine environment
2. Seafastening design, including design and analysis of grillages, winch bases, lay spreads and work platforms to DNV standards
3. Performing analysis of allowable stress of structures to AISC ASD 9th ed or similar
4. Lifting equipment design/checks according to DNV codes
5. Installation aid design and analysis
6. Ship structure knowledge (an advantage)
7. Understanding of steel fabrication methods and standards, including welding
8. Ability to perform hand (spreadsheet) calculations as well as use tools such as FEA and beam/column modellers
9. 2D and 3D CAD skills
10. Excellent written reporting skills
11. Use of software such as:
1. ANSYS FEA
2. Space Gass (frame modeller)
3. MS Excel and Word
