Job summary
A local family is seeking a full-time caregiver to assist with household duties and supervise their children in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and be responsible for sterilizing bottles, feeding infants, and maintaining a safe environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada. This position offers competitive pay at $19.00 per hour for 30 to 35 hours per week. Interested candidates should apply before January 21, 2026.
Qualifications
- Experience is an asset.
- Must have a valid work permit if not a permanent resident of Canada.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
- Assume responsibility for household in absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Travel with family and assist with child supervision.
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Discipline children as requested by parents.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise and care for children.
- Tend to emotional well-being of children.
