Candidates should have significant experience in solar or mechanical/electrical installations, strong leadership skills, and commitment to safety. The role offers a salary up to £60K, profit sharing, and opportunities for career development.
Do you have solar installation experience? If not, do you have other mechanical, electrical experience and keen to take advantage of full training. We’re looking for someone with team leadership experience to join an ethical, quality-driven specialist working onsite on exciting projects (1kW to 4.5MW) across the Bristol area and beyond. They’re dedicated to accelerating the UK’s transition to clean energy, reducing customer costs and future-proofing their energy solutions.
As a lead installer you will be responsible for installing solar panels on commercial properties in line with safety regulations and standards. You’ll be involved in all stages of an installation project, from inception to completion, including project planning and preparing risk assessments and method statements. They’ll need you to have led a team onsite delivering high quality installations, communicating effectively in a calm, approachable and professional manner. You will be involved in assessing locations for suitability, measuring and marking out installation areas, preparing surfaces, mounting and installing solar panels, maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used and testing the systems. This role is very much onsite and will require travel and flexibility.
They’re offering the opportunity to join a growing, friendly and supportive team with a strong pipeline of projects aiding the UK’s transition to Net Zero. There’s a competitive salary (up to £60K), profit share scheme, pension, company van and fuel card, expenses for travel, training budget, team away days, career development plans and more.
