This is a rare opportunity to lead the relaunch of a private equity practice at a highly profitable, directories-ranked UK law firm. The firm’s structure is built around corporate work. The managing partner is corporate-focused. The platform is profitable – over half the equity partners earn in excess of £1 million – and the firm operates a lockstep model. There is existing private equity work, and the firm has already made two high-quality junior partner hires in London. What’s missing is a senior private equity partner to lead the charge.
