Job summary
A leading training organization is seeking an exceptional General Manager / Principal in Gloucester. This unique role combines operational and commercial leadership with academic oversight. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth while ensuring training remains at the forefront of global standards. Responsibilities include managing a multidisciplinary team and developing strategic plans. The role offers a salary of £130,000 – £170,000 plus bonus and benefits, working 35 hours a week in a permanent position.

- Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering close collaboration between administrative and training staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align educational priorities with sustainable business growth.
- Ensure compliance and maintain exceptional training quality in line with regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, regulatory authorities, and industry partners to enhance programme quality and reputation.
- Proven leadership track record in a professional training environment, technical services company, higher education college or university.
- Strong business management skills with financial P&L awareness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing or overseeing high‑quality curriculum or training programmes.
- Programme and change management expertise.
Salary: £130,000 – £170,000 + bonus/benefits (guide). Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Duration: Permanent. Location: Gloucester. Closing date: 13th December 2025.
