A healthcare organization in St Leonards is hiring an Aboriginal Health & Wellbeing Project Officer to promote and develop strategic initiatives aimed at improving health services for Aboriginal people. The role involves collaboration with various health sectors and providing executive support to senior committees. Qualified applicants must be of Aboriginal descent, possess relevant qualifications, and demonstrate strong project management skills. This position requires working rights in Australia and is currently full-time until November 2026.
Employment Type: Health Manager Level 3 – Full Time, Exempt (Until November 2026)
Remuneration: $132,236.00 - $150,222.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Hours Per Week: 38

About us: The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.
About the Opportunity: This is an identified recruitment under Rule 26 of the Government Sector Employment (General) Rules 2014 where only Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are considered eligible to apply for this role.
The Aboriginal Health & Wellbeing Project Officer will promote, develop and implement strategic change‑management initiatives that will improve the level and quality of health services for Aboriginal people across NSW. This includes projects that support better integration of care across sectors. The role will work collaboratively with ACI Clinical Networks, local health districts and specialty health networks managers and clinicians, the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector and other key stakeholders to facilitate the contribution of internal and external stakeholders in the innovation of new programs, frameworks and models of care and clinical guidelines across the state.
This role will also provide high‑level advice and executive support functions to senior committees and taskforces.
