Job summary
A leading vehicle maintenance company in Brighouse is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic / Technician to join their team. The role includes maintenance and repairs to cars and light commercial vehicles, with responsibilities like inspecting for defects and providing clear explanations to customers. Suitable candidates should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications and a strong knowledge of vehicle systems. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.

- Maintenance & repairs to cars and light commercial vehicles.
- All work under taken, servicing, clutches, brakes, timing belts, engine repairs.
- Inspect vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their performance or safety.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to conduct tests and measurements.
- Keep accurate records of test results and any repairs or maintenance performed.
- Provide customers with clear explanations of test results and any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- NVQ Level 3 or Time-Served Qualified.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and explain test results.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
