Overview:

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and selecting appropriate repair techniques.
  • Work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
  • Carry out a range of inspections, including MOT and tachograph checks.
  • Provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
  • Perform final checks on completed work.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
  • Extensive experience in repairing and maintaining trucks, components, and associated vehicles.
  • Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.
  • Valid driving license.
